Enjoy the fascination of a mystical natural landscape with the Moor Express! The start and finish of the round trip is the NIZ in Goldenstedt-Arkeburg. The Moor Railway takes you deep into the Goldenstedt Moor for about an hour and a half, where you will be amazed by the mysterious atmosphere and the peculiar vegetation of the moor landscape.

The route takes you past rural and industrial peat pits and almost  untouched moorland and renaturation areas. On your return, you can also take advantage of numerous extraordinary opportunities in the NIZ to find out more about the moor. These include, for example, a bog tunnel, a bog bioscope, housed in a three-storey wooden tower  with laboratory, classroom, examination room and a viewing platform, as well as a bog nature trail. There are also plenty of refreshments available.
