Rundtour vorbei an der Bockwindmühle Wehe, Hochzeitsmühle Tonnenheide und mehr!

The cycle path number 11 takes you from the museum farm through the beautiful Rahden parkland on to Wehe and the oldest post mill on the Mühlenstraße in the Minden-Lübbecke district. The mill is still in its original location and is operational. Grinding and baking days also take place here.

Continue via Barl through the Schwarzes Moor and Weißes Moor nature reserves, which invite you to go for a walk. Now you come to the Großer Stein. The Großer Stein is one of the sights of the Rahdener Land. A giant boulder on the Klasing farm. At a respectable size of 10 x 7 x 3 meters and weighing around 350 tons, this witness to the Ice Age is the largest known erratic boulder in northern Germany.

On the way back, you cross the Hahnenkämper Heide. If you are on the Schmalger Weg, we recommend making a detour to the Tonnenheide Wedding Mill. Civil wedding ceremonies have been held in the Galerie-Holländer-Mühle for several years.

On the way back, Rahden's town center with its small stores and boutiques invites you to stroll and linger, or take a short walk to admire Rahden's St. Johannis Church and the old houses.
